Melissa Nohr, JD, HHP, INP, BNP is a
Board-Certified Integrative Health Practitioner and Certified ReCode 2.0 Health Coach.
Melissa focuses her coaching practice on improving brain health and preventing cognitive decline. She is an accredited genetics practitioner and appreciates how a person’s genes play a role in memory and brain health, but do not determine their cognitive destiny! Melissa is also a speaker and published writer on a variety of health topics including neurodegeneration and brain health.
A former attorney, Melissa is passionate about empowering people to become their own health advocate. She teaches people how to take control of their health and wellbeing to overcome the cognitive health-related obstacles they face. Having struggled with her own health issues, Melissa has empathy and compassion for people facing health challenges. She supports and guides clients in developing and maintaining lasting nutrition and lifestyle strategies to meet their health goals and achieve optimal brain health.
Melissa has over 10 years of experience in neurodegenerative conditions, metabolic diseases, autoimmune conditions, gastrointestinal issues, inflammatory conditions, and environmentally acquired illnesses, such as mold exposure. Melissa prioritizes detoxification, gut health and reducing inflammation in the body. Melissa believes the essentials of healing and brain health are implementing proven strategies and lifestyle changes. She focuses on the seven strategies Dr. Bredesen has identified as important for neuroplasticity: restorative sleep, optimal nutrition, exercise, stress management, brain stimulation, detoxification, and targeted supplementation.
